C.B. HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY: Lucas Phillippo scores winner, Riverview Ravens edge Memorial Marauders on Thursday

NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. – The Riverview Ravens claimed a road victory in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action on Thursday.

Lucas Phillippo scored twice, including the game-winner, as the Ravens edged the Memorial Marauders 3-2 at Emera Centre Northside in North Sydney.

Rory Mills also had a goal for the Ravens.

Jesse Ross and Daniel Young replied with goals for the Marauders.

Riverview’s Kayden Mollons made 18 saves. Memorial’s Jack MacPhee stopped 17 of 20 shots.

High school hockey action continues on Friday when Riverview hosts Sydney Academy at 8 p.m. at Cape Breton County Recreation Centre.
